**Edit….So I just realized I’m panicking a little bit. I’m going somewhere unknown, alone (kids don’t count when it comes to getting lost!) I’m thinking maybe I should have bought the GPS.  Crap!**

So I have this new thing I’ve been doing lately. Not sleeping. Yeah, it’s fun for me. I’m averaging about 4-5 hours a night. Worked out well when I was still going to school and up studying all night, but yeah, now I’m just pretty much unable to sleep. I don’t think I’ve ever drank so much coffee in all my life! Doing great things for my ulcer!! Seriously though, at some point, my brain will cease to function on this new sleep schedule, and, well, let’s just be honest folks, there’s already room for improvement in that dept!!

I’m going to pack and load up the car tonight when I get home, and try to go to bed at 8 when I put Ty and Ariel to bed. This will more than likely involve me turning off my cell phone, otherwise I’ll end up texting people all night…not that I would ever do such a thing So if you text me tonight, and I don’t answer, it’s because I’m going to try the 8-10 hour drive on more than 4 hours of sleep. I’ll return the text at 4 when I head out

Can someone please tell me what the hell is wrong with Frankie??? He is NOT potty training like Patch did. Not even a little bit. He’s making me freaking crazy! This morning, he was laying ON his puppy potty training pad, chewing on his raw hide bone, then walked over by the door and pooped on the floor! WTF???

I’m counting down the hours today and can’t wait until 4pm when it’s time to head out! Woo-freaking-hoo bitches!! I have a ton to do though, since I’ll be gone Friday and Monday, and then Wed is a holiday. Hmmm, I’ll finish my blog post first Speaking of, sorry in advance if I don’t get around to blogs. I’ll have to pay for net at the hotel and can only spend so much time chillin’ in Starbucks with the kiddies while on vacation. I’ll catch up when I get home though, promise

So I ask Tyler last night if he wants to go to the park after dinner. He says “Can I bring my DS??” all excited and stuff. We all 3 said varying degrees of “Are you kidding me??” Yeah, he’s not excited to have it at allllll! I got them both headphones though, and that makes me very happy I also bought 2 car chargers, so we’ll have NO DS downtime during the drive. I’ve got this shit planned!

Oh yeah, Sea Salt. I’ve been rinsing my piercing with it. Kicks some major ass!!

Holy shit, look at those eyebrows!!! I need to get them waxed, but I’m so afraid it’ll hurt! And I’d totally pluck them, but up until today, I hadn’t really noticed them. Oh, and I normally balance my hand on my nose when I’m plucking, and barely touching my nose hurts like hell. So, I’ll have amazon brows for a bit longer!

I have a bit more bruising today, which is normal. Doc said I’d be a bit more bruised and swollen for a few days after taking the cast off.
I feel much better today. Almost feeling human. I’m so nervous about going back to work though, because I am still taking pain meds, and I’m still sleeping a lot. I may not be able to work full day the first couple days…definitely don’t want to over do it!!
Oh, and do you know how wonderful it was to sleep laying down last night?? Amazing!!!

Well, we’re at Day 7. I’m not feeling very well. I’m still running a fever. The kids came home today, and I had to run Ariel to ortho, and I just about passed out. Everyone at the office kept saying how pale I was. I’m glad I’m going to the doctor tomorrow…I don’t like the way I’m feeling. My nose hurts today, my eyes burn, my head hurts…not good. I did wash my hair finally though! I am so happy to have the kids home though! They were both so happy to see me, especially Ariel And they thought the sunroof was the coolest! They’re my sweet love bugs and I missed them so much, so I’m a very happy girl!!
So, here’s what Patch and I have been doing since my surgery He’s my love bug!
Speaking of dogs, I’ve been thinking about getting another one. John said if I want another one it has to be a small one, which is fine. I’ve been looking at Shih Tzu’s. They’re cute and supposed to be good family dogs. I’m thinking if I do get one, I’ll get an adult from a rescue that needs a good/new home. We’ll see.

So this is what happened earlier. I moved the carton of eggs in the fridge, let the door shut, and heard it hit something. I turned around to see the egg carton partially hanging out and egg dripping down. Great. So I open the door a bit to survey the damage, and let go of it again to grab a towel. Another crunch. 2 eggs down. Damn! Oh well. This is why you don’t play in the fridge high!!

So, on to the movie reviews! Tonight we’re reviewing My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Blood Diamond, and Ant Bully (yup, kids are home!)

My Super Ex-Girlfriend was ok. It had funny spots, and it had a good ending, just didn’t jump out and grab me. I’d say if you’re bored and it happens to be on, watch it. But don’t go out of your way to see it.

Blood Diamond was amazing! I’ve been watching so many movies about Africa lately, and it really intrigues me. I’d like to study it and learn more! But yeah, the movie was great, and was really touching in some places. The one man in the movie was a little screamy for my taste, but I’d say that was my only complaint. I definitely recommend this movie! It is a bit gory though, just an FYI.

The kids loved Ant Bully. I was dozing, so I can’t tell you anything about it, not that I would, but they kept waking me up laughing I think tomorrow when they get home we’re going to watch Open Season. I’ve been really wanting to see it, so let’s hope I can stay awake

People keep asking what kind of doggy my Patch is. He’s a pure bred white Boxer. He was born Sept 24, 2006 and has been ours since Dec 2006.
We knew we wanted a Boxer, it was just a matter of finding the right breeder, etc. But when we stumbled upon the story of the white Boxers, we knew that was what we wanted!

The swelling’s finally going down!

I still have to stay sitting up. So allllll day long, I sit on the couch covered up, and my loving puppy lays on me I love it so much…it’s like a sense of security having him laying on me

I’ve got a pretty good black eye going!

Well, it still hurts. Still can’t breathe. Still sleeping sitting up. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned, but John has taken great care of me! I can’t chew (it hurts) so he’s kept me stocked up on soft stuff, like soft cookies, pudding and soup. I can’t taste, but I bet it’s all yummy He’s also been making sure I’m taking my meds and staying ahead of the pain. Since it still hurts a little, I can’t imagine how much it would hurt without the meds!! Thank God for modern medicine!!

I just got done watching The Last Kiss. It was really good, better than I expected. The one girl yelled a little too much for me…kinda a drama queen. I mean, yeah, what happened was horrible, but I don’t think it warranted the theatrics. But hey, what do I know Anyhoo, good story line. Didn’t so much make you think as it should you what could happen when you start over thinking your life. The ending was just ok…not the greatest. Anyhoo, I do recommend it, although it is more of a chick flick

Yesterday on the way home, there was some idiot that kept switching lanes, cutting people off, causing them to slam on their brakes, and the whole time, he got NOWHERE! I hate people like that!! Then, this morning, it’s foggy as hell, and people start slamming on their brakes, like that’s going to make the situation better! I swear, I should have my own lane where I don’t have to deal with idiot drivers!!
Speaking of driving though, my Sasha (yes, I name my cars!) is officially a year old, and I’ve managed to put 22,500 miles on her in a year!! Geez I drive a lot, and most of it is just random, I think I’ll go for a drive today driving. I love my baby though, and her little computer tells me I’m averaging 31mpg!! Pretty darn good!!

My Patch is growing so fast! We took him to the vet on Saturday for his booster shots, and he’s gained 4 pounds since we got him. He’s up to 20.4 pounds, and is about 3.5 months old. He’s a real love bug, and wants to be in my lap at all times if I’m sitting. I’m setting a bad precedent for when he’s 80lbs!! He’s also finally learning to walk on a leash. Stubborn shit was just digging in his heels and letting you drag him. He’s finally gotten that it’s more fun to walk than be dragged!

Last, but not least, my face is healing, and isn’t quite as scary as it was. I’m not as embarrassed to go out in public now
